Store Guardian (“we”, “the app”) is a Shopify application that monitors product catalog health for merchants who install it.

Data we process

• Shop identifiers: myshopify domain, shop name, shop email, plan name.
• Access token: encrypted offline Admin API token to read products.
• Product metadata: titles, statuses, prices, inventory totals, media presence — used only to generate health alerts.
• Optional alert email: if the merchant provides one in Settings.
• Billing metadata: subscription id/status from Shopify Billing.

Data we do not store

We do not store customer personal data (names, addresses, payment instruments, order line personal details). Customer GDPR webhooks are acknowledged and logged as empty/no-data responses.

Purpose

Provide catalog monitoring alerts and subscription billing through Shopify.

Retention

On uninstall we deactivate the shop and clear the access token. On shop/redact we delete the shop record and related alerts.

Sharing

We do not sell merchant data. Data is processed on our hosting provider solely to operate the app. Payments are handled by Shopify Billing.
